Wed 6th           Film: Jackie Brown(15): 7pm American crime drama film written and directed by Quentin Tarantino.
Thurs 7th         Woolcraft: 1-4pm Knitting and crafts group.
Sat 9th             Jumble Sale at Poolewe Hall: 10am-5pm All day jumble with refreshments available. Proceeds to Poolewe Primary Eco Group. For more info on how to donate items or request a free stall please see event poster or contact us on the number above.
Wed 13th         Film: Breakfast at Tiffany’s: 7pm A classic film with the timeless elegance of Audrey Hepburn.
Thurs 14th       Beginners Patchwork Class: 11am-1pm Run by Linda Bartlett. Max 6 people, materials provided by The Greenhouse, £5 per person.
                        Craft group coffee afternoon: 1.30pm Do you bake/paint/sew or anything else inbetween? Come along to our first meeting and meet a network of people with similar interests.
Sat 16th           Creative Book Making: 10am-1pm Run by Lesley Tidmarsh. Max 4 people, all materials provided, £20 per person.
Tues 19th         Drawing Class: 6-8pm Improve your drawing skills, £5 per person.
Wed 20th         Talk&Film- ‘The Cove’: 7pm Come and share a passion for dolphins and other marine mammals with Elsa Panciroli of the Whale and Dolphin Conservation Society, WDCS. She will be giving a presentation about their behaviour, protection and threats from fishing and captivity both here in Scotland and around the world. Her talk is followed by the moving, ‘Bond-style’ thriller documentary about dolphin drive-hunting; ‘The Cove’. Free tea/coffee + nibbles provided.
Thurs 21st        Woolcraft: 1-4pm Knitting and crafts group.
Fri 22nd            Swishing: 7pm Rescheduled clothing swap, see posters for details.
Tues 26th         Drawing Class: 6-8pm Improve your drawing skills, £5 per person.
Wed 27th         Film: Mongol(15):7pm Film recounting the early life of Genghis Khan.
Thurs 28th       Walk&Talk, Non-Native Invasive Aliens: 2-4pm A second chance to join Meryl and Lynn on a wildlife walk examining the history and future of non-native invasive species in the area.
Sat 30th           Café Open Mic Ceilidh Day Originally, a ceilidh was a social gathering of any sort, and did not necessarily involve dancing. Come along and share your stories, poems and ballads to our friendly café audience.


Every Tuesday from 10.30am-12.30pm we have a work club Upstairs. An
informal place to boost your confidence and help you find a job. All welcome.
